Comfy bed and all you could want for in a spacious room Charles KayserTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hidden gem, with great service and outstanding views J.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Partner and I had a great stay. Mike was wealth of knowledge of Burnie and Tasmania. Might have ended up talking for hours if we hadn't had plans the following morning! They were keen to giving us tips on our trip, and whatever sights, eats and activities to really enjoy as much of our trip as possible. The view of Burnie from the room we got was awesome. The building itself was pretty homey. Only minor gripe though is that only snacks can be had in your suite, and that larger meals had to be eaten in a common area but that's just the introvert in me, I guess. Still, would be happy to stay here again! Charlie PlumridgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rooms were good, great views, little hard to get into the property from the access road and they don't offer refunds or changed booking dates if something happens and you are unable to attend Taylor PortelliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike and Melissa went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and made to feel at home. The room was simply stunning with a gorgeous view. The check-in process was a little more protracted than normal, but this is because the host is very security conscious. And who can blame him, he has a stunning home. But it’s also rather reassuring as a guest. Loved it. We had just the most beautiful room with floor to ceiling bay windows looking across to Burnie to the Strait. Stunningly decorated, keeping all the period features while still introducing all the creature comforts. The positioning of the private shower room and powder room was genius. The hosts could not have been more helpful. They were never obtrusive, but just happened to be “there” when we needed them. There is a lovely communal sunroom/balcony with tables and chairs, and another big room with all the basic brekky staples which was all included in the room cost. Which as I’ve said was more than reasonable. I should probably take a moment to mention the shower. It was one of those rain showers with a big square head, and enough room to swing a cat. And bless them … pillows that don’t disappear into the mattress the minute you put your head on them. Overall a wonderful experience. I wish we had more time to stay longer. Oh well, will just have to come again! Clive HanksTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Extremely well appointed rooms. Comfy bed and pillows and a very friendly and professional host.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
